It begins

To start this off right, we completed our weekly shopping with a trip to Chinatown. All these groceries, mostly produce, were just $30. Combine that with the $66 we spent yesterday on eveything else (bread, milk, meat, cereal, etc), we have spent around $100 for the week. We only buy items on sale, which sometimes means not having exactly what we want or need, but it is usually fine. Sometimes we have a tonne of something that was on for a good price, like the 15 kind of cereal currently on the counter.
